Joseph Wilson is a freelance writer based in Toronto, focusing on issues in science, technology and culture.  His work has appeared in Toronto’s leading alternative weekly, NOW Magazine, the Toronto Star, Spacing Magazine, and The Globe and Mail.  He graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Astronomy and Semiotic Linguistic Anthropology, and a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, specializing in social justice and global education. He is involved with a project to record memories from citizens all over the world at Memory Archive, and is a co-founder of the Treehouse Group a local collective which brings together people from diverse backgrounds for brunches, conferences and science fairs. He currently teaches physics and science at a Toronto high school.
